I’m taking part in a little show at the Tokarska Gallery please come along if you can. The private view is on Thursday the 6th of February from 6 till 8 in the evening and the show runs on till the 15th.

The exhibition is by ex students of Middlesex University, or in my case polytechnic, as it was a very long time ago since I was there, giving a sense of the development they have made since leaving. It should be very illuminating for the alumni.

My work will be represented by two small mobile sculptures “pond life” 1 & 2.

In a few weeks time I will be attempting to relaunch my artistic “career”. After a gap of a couple of years I have been easing myself back into it and reflecting on what I want to do and how to get there. I’m hoping to kick of with an open studio event and then be available in the studio for visitors every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

It is taking me a little longer than I anticipated to clear the place out of my accumulated rubbish, mainly because of my limited lifting capability, but I am getting there. I should have a greater range of things to buy from fridge magnets to mugs on top of my prints, and I will be producing more sculpture and mobiles. So watch this space as it should all kick off in early February.
